On ALL orders, we handwrite a note to the buyer. For custom orders, these notes are sealed with a wax seal.

At LUCE, we want to treat our customers and our artisans with dignity and respect. Our buyers are people; and our artisans are also people. We do not treat either as a number, but as a person. 

With this value we hold, the LUCE artisans hand-write notes to our customers. We believe this little act helps the customer know how much we thought of them as we made their product. We also want them to know the source of this piece of art. These covers are not made by a machine, but by a person... in Ann Arbor. Michingan.

Note writing also helps the artisan remember the finality of their work: you. We make these covers to serve you. Also, this gives good closure to the artisans who puts their heart into their work.
